On August 27, 2020, Kyree Pringle, a 25-year-old resident of Bryans Road, Maryland, was found fatally shot in the 2800 block of V Street, Northeast, Washington, DC. The incident occurred around 4:01 PM when officers from the Fifth District responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Pringle inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Pringle was pronounced dead at the scene.
