In the late afternoon of Thursday, August 27, 2020, a grim discovery was made in an industrial area of Northeast Washington, D.C. Inside a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of V Street, authorities found the body of 25-year-old Kyree Pringle. The young man, a resident of Bryans Road, Maryland, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:01 p.m. following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, D.C.
Fire and Emergency Medical Services found no signs of life. Kyree Pringle was pronounced dead at the scene, his life tragically cut short. The Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch is actively investigating the case as a homicide.
In an effort to bring those responsible to justice, the police have offered a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in this fatal shooting. To date, there have been no public announcements regarding any arrests made or suspects identified in connection with the death of Kyree Pringle. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to appeal to the public for any information that might help solve this case.
