In the summer of 2021, on the evening of Sunday, August 15th, the life of 28-year-old Kalif Brown was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. Officers from the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department were drawn to the 2200 block of 14th Street, Southeast, by the sound of gunshots ringing out at approximately 8:26 p.m.. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered a grim sight: an adult male, later identified as Kalif Brown, inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.
