Officers from the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department were drawn to the 2200 block of 14th Street, Southeast, by the sound of gunshots ringing out at approximately 8:26 p.m.. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered a grim sight: an adult male, later identified as Kalif Brown, inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.
