Jawaid Bhutto, a 64-year-old prominent Pakistani philosopher and former professor at Sindh University, was fatally shot on March 1, 2019, in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred in the parking lot of his residence on Wade Road S.E., where Bhutto lived with his wife, journalist Nafisa Hoodbhoy.
