On March 8, 2007, Ronald Collins, age 54, and his wife, Connie, were found dead inside their home in Roseville, Perry County, Ohio. Initially, authorities suspected that the couple had died in an accidental fire. However, autopsy results later revealed that both victims had been shot prior to the fire. Ronald Collins was shot in the head, while Connie Collins suffered gunshot wounds to her arm and abdomen, suggesting she may have attempted to defend herself during the attack.
