On March 8, 2007, Ronald Collins, age 54, and his wife, Connie, were found dead inside their home in Roseville, Perry County, Ohio. Initially, authorities suspected that the couple had died in an accidental fire. However, autopsy results later revealed that both victims had been shot prior to the fire.
