On the night of March 6, 2019, at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers from the New Castle County Division of Police responded to a reported shooting on the unit block of Raven Turn in the Sparrow Run community of Bear, Delaware. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Dyron S. Nuriddin suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by the responding officers, Nuriddin succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
