On May 31, 2017, Clifton Taylor, a 25-year-old UNLV student, was found brutally murdered in his Las Vegas apartment. Taylor had been fatally stabbed multiple times, and his body was discovered in a bathtub by authorities. His roommate, Zachary Drey, 25, was identified as the primary suspect in the killing. Drey fled the state after the murder, but he was eventually arrested in California and extradited to Las Vegas to face charges.
