On the afternoon after Christmas in 2020, Ryjee Pinkney, a 22-year-old Black / African American male, was shot in Wilmington, Delaware. Police said the shooting happened at about 2:38 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, in the area of 35th and Locust Streets, in the city’s Eastlawn section.
