Ryjee Pinkney, 22, a Black/African American male, was shot on the afternoon of December 26, 2020, in Wilmington, Delaware. Police were called just after 2:30 p.m. to the area of 35th and Locust Streets in the city’s Eastlawn section, where officers found him suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries. Authorities publicly identified him the next day, noting the time and location of the attack and confirming that he did not survive.
