Maricarmen Quiroz-Octaviano, a 21-year-old female of Mexican ethnicity, tragically passed away on September 17, 2016, in College Station, Texas. She was a senior at Texas A&M University, studying Genetics. Maricarmen was born in Tejupilco, Mexico, on April 16, 1995, and had moved to the United States to pursue her education.

The circumstances surrounding Maricarmen's death were both tragic and heartbreaking. She was shot and killed in her off-campus apartment by her boyfriend, Victor Manu ...
