On a Monday afternoon, February 21, 2022, the life of 23-year-old Jermaine Meadows, a Black/African American male, was cut short by gun violence in Wilmington, Delaware. At approximately 2:32 p.m., Wilmington Police Department officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Warner Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Meadows suffering from gunshot wounds.
