Tanasia Rollins-Townsend was a 25-year-old Black woman from Claymont, Delaware. In the early morning hours of January 30, 2021, patrol officers were dispatched to the unit block of 3rd Avenue in the Overlook Colony neighborhood for reports of a shooting. They found Rollins-Townsend suffering from a gunshot wound; she was transported to a local hospital, where she died of her injuries later that morning.
