Tanasia Rollins-Townsend, a 25-year-old Black/African American woman from Claymont, Delaware, was killed in the early morning hours of January 30, 2021, after gunfire broke the quiet of the Overlook Colony neighborhood. New Castle County police said patrol officers were dispatched to the unit block of 3rd Avenue for a report of a shooting that had just occurred.
