Nakysha Richardson, 19, a Black woman, was shot in the early minutes of July 6, 2020, on Wilmington's East Side and died soon after. Just after 12:15 a.m., officers responding to the 800 block of North Pine Street found her suffering from gunshot wounds and rushed her to a hospital in critical condition.
