On August 7, 2021, thirty-year-old Joshua Bailey, a male resident of Wilmington, Delaware, was fatally shot in the 400 block of West 29th Street. The incident occurred during a violent weekend in Wilmington, where multiple shootings were reported. Joshua Bailey, age 30, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, age 31, was also injured in a separate shooting that same day at Conrad and North Scott streets. Authorities did not immediately confirm whether the two incidents were connected.
