On April 7, 2004, Jontel Wise, aged 17, was shot and killed in Washington, D.C. The incident took place at approximately 10:53 PM in the area near 16th and U Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the shooting, but despite efforts to investigate the case, it remains unsolved.
