Murdered

On February 10, 2010, 24-year-old Serge T. Mulongo was fatally shot in the entryway of his apartment building at 218 Park Avenue in Portland, Maine. The assailant, identified as 25-year-old Daudoit Butsitsi, fired six shots at close range, resulting in Mulongo's death. The two men were former friends and had been involved in altercations earlier that day, including a physical confrontation on the street.
