In the Hill neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut, the evening of February 10, 2014, turned tragic for 22-year-old Kyle Edwards, a Black male. He was found with a gunshot wound to his head in the first-floor hallway of his residence at 31 Kossuth Street. Rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital, he was pronounced dead, marking the city's fourth homicide of the year.
