On December 25, 2015, 35-year-old Eric C. Williams and his girlfriend, 26-year-old Bonnie Royer, were found shot to death inside a Chevrolet Trailblazer on Sanford Road in Manchester, Maine. The couple, residents of Augusta, were discovered after Royer managed to place a 911 call at 3:34 a.m., stating, "I’ve just been shot." Both victims died from gunshot wounds to the head.
