On a cold December afternoon in 2014, the life of 22-year-old Anthony Mitchell was tragically cut short. Originally from New York, the young man had been living in Lincoln, Rhode Island. On December 17th, as he was leaving the Rodriguez Meat Market and Grocery on Hartford Avenue in Providence, he was fatally shot. Emergency services rushed him to Rhode Island Hospital, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he succumbed to them.
