On the night of October 22, 2020, 27-year-old Dante Mann was fatally shot in Providence, Rhode Island. Mann, an aspiring rapper known as "SOS DMann," was filming a music video on Gallup Street in Lower South Providence when the incident occurred. The video was a tribute to his cousin, Tyrone Williams, who had been shot and killed on the same street in July 2018.
