In the autumn of 2020, a domestic dispute in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, tragically cut short the life of 31-year-old Jarell King, a Black / African American male. On the evening of October 21st, King went to a residence with the intention of seeing his three-year-old son. At the home was his former girlfriend, the mother of his child, and her current boyfriend.
