On September 3, 2018, 21-year-old Darias Jae Tiger was fatally shot in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. when 18-year-old Stasek Alexandr Stefanyuk was showing friends a recently acquired shotgun. During this demonstration, the firearm discharged, striking Tiger in the back and resulting in his immediate death.
