On June 8, 2024, 43-year-old Daniel Carl Kemnitz was tragically killed in a shooting at a house party in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. during a gathering around a bonfire in a residential neighborhood. Two other individuals, 43-year-old Kellie Elizabeth Reaves and 34-year-old Michael Andrew Thompson, also lost their lives in the shooting, marking Sioux Falls' first triple homicide in over 50 years.
