Joel Herman Ashby III, born on May 2, 1983, in Texas, was a resident of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the time of his death on November 5, 2017. He was raised in McCook, Nebraska, and moved to South Dakota in 2001. Joel worked at BPI and was married to Stephanie Tague, with whom he had two daughters, Petra and Avalee.
