On February 16, 2017, in the northern part of Casper, Wyoming, authorities responded to a residence where they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds: 46-year-old Brandon Machado and a woman who lived with him. A third person had called 911 to report the incident. Machado was critically injured and succumbed to his injuries the following day, February 17, 2017.
