On February 1, 2024, 30-year-old Brandon Arguello Lopez was found unconscious with a gunshot wound in the 1500 block of West 15th Street in Casper, Wyoming. Emergency responders initiated life-saving measures and transported him to Banner Wyoming Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Natrona County Coroner's Office determined the cause of death to be a homicide.
