On Sunday, March 18, 2018, 49-year-old White male Troy Lynn Mabbitt of Casper was shot during an incident in north Casper and was transported to Wyoming Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The Natrona County Coroner identified the 49-year-old male victim as Troy Lynn Mabbitt and listed the cause of death as a gunshot wound; he was pronounced at 3:08 p.m. that day.
