In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 30, 2007, a violent encounter in the Third Street Tunnel in Washington, D.C., claimed the life of 26-year-old Anthony Carr. The Stafford, Virginia resident was a passenger in an Acura when the tragic events unfolded around 3:20 a.m. The incident is believed to have started as a road-rage dispute as the Acura and a late-model silver or gray Cadillac DeVille were both entering the tunnel.
