On June 30, 2007, at around 3:20 am, Anthony Carr, a 26-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., was fatally shot in the Third Street Tunnel. According to witnesses, the shooting involved occupants of a late-model silver or gray Cadillac DeVille, which was possibly carrying Maryland tags starting with the letter "D."
