On a December afternoon in Washington, D.C., a family dispute escalated into a tragedy that would ultimately tear a family apart. Vincent Gyamfi, a 26-year-old male, was shot and killed on Friday, December 11, 2020, in the 1700 block of 29th Street, Southeast. The events leading to his death began with a seemingly trivial matter: an Instagram post. His cousin, Lewkus Turner, had made a post earlier in the week that upset Gyamfi, prompting him to seek out his cousin to discuss it.
