On August 7, 2020, Rashad Scott, a 30-year-old man from Washington, DC, was tragically shot and killed in the 1900 block of 6th Street, NW. The incident occurred at approximately 6:18 PM. Responding officers found Scott on the ground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
