On July 13, 2007, Jason Kinney, aged 26, was shot and killed at approximately 11:53 p.m. in the 1500 block of East Capitol Street, SE, Washington, D.C. He was struck in a drive-by shooting while on this street, which has experienced its share of violent crime.
