On March 7, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the Brighton Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, resulting in the death of 31-year-old David Villarreal-Zapata. The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Archer Avenue.
