On October 11, 2020, 25-year-old African American male Jeremiah D. McCoy was fatally shot in the 8600 block of South State Street in Chicago's Chatham neighborhood. McCoy, known in the local music scene as a rapper, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the incident, the Chicago Police Department initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend the individual or individuals responsible for McCoy's death. As of the latest available information, there have been no public reports ...
