Jechon Anderson, an 11-year-old African American boy, was tragically found dead on June 4, 2018, in his home located in the West Pullman neighborhood on Chicago's Far South Side. Initially, authorities reported that Jechon had suffered blunt trauma to the head, but it was later confirmed by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office that he had been shot in the head.
