Marcel O’Neal, a 43-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on April 19, 2019, in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood on the Southeast Side of Chicago. According to reports, Marcel was walking on a sidewalk in the 700 block of East 131st Street around 3:20 p.m. when an assailant emerged from a dark-colored car and shot him multiple times.
