Armani Harris, a 25-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on August 23, 2018, in Chicago, IL. Harris was fatally shot while stopped at a red light in the Midway Plaisance, a park near the University of Chicago campus. The incident occurred just after midnight when another car pulled up beside Harris' vehicle and someone inside opened fire. Harris was struck multiple times in the head, shoulder, arm, and thigh.
