Ronald Wiley, an 18-year-old African American male, was found shot to death on June 17, 2022, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred on the Near West Side, specifically in the 2000 block of West Van Buren Avenue. According to the Chicago Police Department and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, Ronald was discovered unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his face around 8:21 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
