Death by Force

On October 5, 2008, 21-year-old Caneshua Monique Henry was fatally shot near 2905 Gallant Drive in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred early in the morning at the apartment complex of her cousin, Kimyatta Henry. The previous evening, Caneshua's former partner and the father of her child, Allen Hinkle, had visited her apartment to deliver diapers. An altercation ensued between Hinkle and another individual in the breezeway, leading Caneshua to demand that Hinkle leave the premises.
