On November 24, 2008, 27-year-old Gregory "Greg" Shelton Jr. was found deceased in a field near the 2500 block of South Park Drive in Southwest Birmingham, Alabama. Shelton, a 1999 graduate of Huffman High School, was a resident of Birmingham.
Investigations revealed that Shelton was allegedly involved in the murder of Christian Callins earlier that month. Authorities believe that Shelton's death was a result of his failure to dispose of a cell phone connected to Callins' murder. Martez
