On April 26, 2019, 33-year-old Sterling K. Bradley was found unresponsive in a breezeway at the Garden Inn and Suites on Crestwood Boulevard in Birmingham, Alabama. Upon arrival, Birmingham Police and Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, authorities arrested 29-year-old Nicholas Burrell of Fultondale, Alabama. He was charged with murder in connection with Bradley's death and was held in the Jefferson County Jail.
