In the spring of 2014, a life was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. Jamal Kree Richburg, a 19-year-old Black male, was involved in an altercation on the evening of April 28th on the 1700 block of 4th Avenue West. During the dispute, Richburg was fatally shot. He was initially transported to Princeton Baptist Medical Center for his injuries and later transferred to UAB Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to the gunshot wound.
