On April 28, 2014, 19-year-old Jamal Kree Richburg was fatally shot during an altercation on the 1700 block of 4th Avenue West in Birmingham, Alabama. Following the incident, he was transported to Princeton Baptist Medical Center and subsequently transferred to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
