On June 14, 2014, 40-year-old Michael Levon Parker was fatally shot on the front porch of a residence located in the 2600 block of Avenue D in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred following an argument between Parker and Isaac Carr, during which both individuals had been using drugs. The confrontation escalated, leading to Carr shooting Parker. Authorities arrested Carr at the scene and charged him with murder.
