On March 15, 2019, 39-year-old Rodregous Gurley was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 9:52 p.m. in the 200 block of 51st Street North. Officers from the East Precinct responded to reports of shots fired and encountered a woman who claimed to be a robbery victim.
