On December 19, 2007, in Birmingham, Alabama, a tragic incident occurred involving 33-year-old Jennifer Gibbs Bankston and her 7-week-old son, Graham Gibbs Bankston. Jennifer, who had recently given birth, was reportedly suffering from postpartum depression. On that day, she took her infant son to a gun store, purchased a firearm, and later used it to fatally shoot Graham before taking her own life.
