In the city of Birmingham, Alabama, a 35-year-old Black man named Tyson R. LaFrance was shot and killed on November 11, 2015. The incident, which is believed to have stemmed from an altercation, took place in the 800 block of 17th Street Ensley. Friends and family remembered LaFrance as a hardworking father.
