In the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama, a grim discovery was made on a Wednesday in June. On the 13th of that month in 2018, 33-year-old Jamal Davis was found inside his vehicle, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The car was located on Avenue D, where police responded to the scene and initiated a homicide investigation into the death of the male victim.
