On a cold December day in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of Melvin Foster Jr. was tragically cut short. On December 4, 2021, Foster was discovered in a parking lot in the 1300 block of 28th Street North with a fatal head wound. His passing was officially announced, with funeral services scheduled for December 14, 2021, at Smith & Gaston Funeral Home.

The circumstances surrounding Foster's death prompted an investigation by the Birmingham Police Department. Despite their efforts, no arrests ...
