On May 28, 2019, 19-year-old Victor Colin was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 6:29 a.m., officers from the Birmingham Police Department's West Precinct responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple gunshots in the 2500 block of Bush Boulevard in the Ensley neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered Colin unresponsive on the ground near the roadway, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
