On May 28, 2019, 19-year-old Victor Colin was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 6:29 a.m., officers from the Birmingham Police Department's West Precinct responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple gunshots in the 2500 block of Bush Boulevard in the Ensley neighborhood.
