In the summer of 2017, a life was tragically cut short on a street in Birmingham, Alabama. Rickey Devolya Siler, a 35-year-old man, was shot and killed on the evening of Monday, June 26, 2017. The fatal encounter began when Siler and another individual were crossing a street near a gas station and were nearly hit by a blue Dodge Charger. This near-miss escalated into a heated argument between Siler and the driver of the car.
