BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — Wednesday night, police responded to the 1700 block of 32nd Place North after someone reported shots fired. A man in his 20's was found shot inside Norwood Oaks Apartments around 8:30. He died at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Ronald Samuels of Birmingham.
