On June 12, 2022, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Birmingham Police officers responded to reports of gunfire at the High Point Apartment Complex on Beacon Parkway East. Upon arrival, they encountered a large group fleeing the pool area and discovered 24-year-old Frankie Keonte McDonald in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound.
