On January 13, 2020, at approximately 2:03 a.m., 37-year-old David Franklin Lee Jr. was fatally shot inside the Showstoppers Motorcycle Club located at 901 Coosa Street in Birmingham, Alabama. Officers from the South Precinct responded to the scene and found Lee unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on-site by Birmingham Fire and Rescue, along with the Jefferson County Coroner.
